Part of a multi-generational legacy in the rafting and outdoor industry. Has a passion and respect for the river and the outdoors that started at an early age. As an outfitter and guide some of his favorite things are working with a team and making memories with others.

Grew up in Idaho and spent a lot of time around and on the Payette River. Enjoys all things water sports and feels passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors with others. Loves to spend time with his wife and two daughters.

Before Outdoor Voyagers
We are a family operated company with roots on the Salmon River going back generations. Before Outdoor Voyagers there was R&R Outdoors. R&R Outdoors was owned and operated by Rob and Rex Black for 20 years before retiring from the rafting industry. Outdoor Voyagers is proud to carry on this legacy.
