About This Trip

This two-day adventure features 31-miles of the Salmon River canyon with a variety of class 3 and 4 whitewater rapids including Tombstone, Van Creek, Cat's Paw, Tight Squeeze, Traps, Black Rock, and more! Along with the exciting whitewater you can also enjoy time swimming in the river and the canyon scenery. You will also enjoy lunch each day on one of the Salmon River's sandy beaches. At the end of your first day of floating we will stop for camp where you can enjoy time relaxing next to the water, short hikes along the riverbank, playing river games, and a dinner prepared by your river guides. After you enjoy your meal, you can retire for the night in one of the provided tents or out under the stars.

Day 2 starts with a hot breakfast before breaking camp and hitting the river. Your trip ends at the Lucile Boat Ramp where your vehicle is parked. Prior to your trip plan to meet at the Lucille boat ramp parking lot at 8 am MST or 7 am PST. Here you will be able to load your belongings into a provided drybag before heading up river.

All meals, camping gear, and tents are provided. Just bring personal clothing, sleeping bag and pillow, along with any other personal items from our packing checklist.
